Why don’t they do what the electric company does? Remove the lines from under the tree and then let the tree be removed by the township?

I know a tree guy who can get it off the lines

Sandy Smith

Sad that they have to wait to see who is responsible, like this is the first tree to fall in the history of york county. Probably the same company in charge of the roads in Pa

The phone lines are not damaged. They are primary trunk lines. The tree is laying on them and the debate is who will cut the tree. Someone will figure it out.

Verizon is responsible for getting off their wires. Then if it is on a Township road it's theirs. If it is on a State Rd it's Pen Dots responsible. My husband works for Dpw. And that's the way they do it. Please don't make people wait.

Idiots in charge as usual

Really! Why? We live on 216 and this tree fell right across the road back in Feb and they removed it within an hour. Right across the cable lines....

And will last till 2022😖

Can’t wait 😁

Thanks so much for the head’s up!!

Thanks for posting!! This is WAY overdue. I live in Shrewsbury and commute to Harrisburg for work and am tired of dodging and sometimes unsuccessfully avoiding the potholes.

Just Loganville to Shrewsbury? They should do at least Queen St down to the MD line. Some of the worst potholes are right below Leader Heights (southbound).

Thank heavens!

Yay!!

At last!!

Sandy Smith

It’s about time. Please let them do it correctly so it lasts more than a year or two!!
