Today the Shrewsbury area received over 3 inches of rain in just over an hour when storms rolled through. Many roadways were flooded by rapidly rising creeks and run off from fields. Shrewsbury Volunteers responded to many flooded roadway incidents and rerouted traffic around the effected areas. Crews cleared the last call around 9:30pm.
