April 7, 2016 Engine 61-1 was dispatched to Steltz Box 58-11 for a house fire with people trapped. Chief 58 arrived with smoke showing and all occupants out of the house. Engine 61-1 arrived 4th and was put to work opening up walls and ceiling looking for fire extension. Engine 61-1 operated for 2.5 hours before returning to service.
