Today another member of the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company took a big step in their life and entered military service. Firefighter Taylor Caruccio took her Oath of Office today and has left for boot camp in Great Lakes Michigan. Firefighter Caruccio will endure weeks of extensive training and begin her 6 year Navy career. She will make the third member currently serving our county on Active Duty. She joins Ian Stuckert in the US Army and Gregory Myers in the US Navy. There are several members who are military veterans as well as 5 Eagle Scouts in the ranks of the Shrewsbury Volunteer Fire Company membership. All members are important to the Shrewsbury Volunteers family and we take great pride in these individuals for their dedication and achievements.
Fair Winds and Following Seas Seaman Recruit Caruccio. May Bravo Zulu accompany you in your achievements.
