At 00:38am Shrewsbury Volunteers were alerted to assist Rose Fire Co. on a reported structure fire. Engine 61-2 responded with 5 members. Enroute units from Rose Fire Co arrived with heavy fire to the rear of a dwelling.
Engine 61-2 arrived and covered the primary hydrant. Members reported to Command 58 for assignments. The fire was a fully involved truck fire in a driveway with some damage to a garage. Personnel from Shrewsbury assisted with some overhaul and picking up the supply line. We were then released.
Good job to Rose Fire Co. on holding the fire to the truck and minimal damage to the garage.
