It is with great reluctance Shrewsbury Volunteers is canceling the Santa Breakfast for Saturday December 17th starting at 07:00.
The weather forecast is calling for snow and ice in our area in the morning hours during the times the breakfast is scheduled. While we have done breakfasts in the past in the snow the ice possibility places an increased danger to all who are attempting to attend. We regret any inconvenience this places on those who were planning to attend however we feel safety is the number one priority which lead to this difficult decision.
The Santa Engine rides beginning on Sunday evening are still running as scheduled. Shrewsbury Volunteers wishes a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.
