At 09:00 Shrewsbury Volunteers along with EMS units from Rose and Glen Rock MS were dispatched for a reported vehicle accident with rollover down an embankment into the water. Rescue 61 and Engine 61-2 responded along with Fire Police 61 to the area of Exit 4 and E Forrest Ave. on arrival Chief Myers established “Shrewsbury Command” and personnel investigated the incident. An off-duty Baltimore City firefighter was on the scene and had assisted the injured occupants up the hill. FD personnel assisted the operation and handed over the patients to EMS.
Personnel from Station 61 controlled run off fluids in the waterway and assisted Gordon’s Towing with vehicle removal. Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
