At 6:54 PM Shrewsbury Volunteers were alerted for a reported structure fire on Old York Rd in Baltimore County, Md. Engine 61-2 and Rescue Squad 61 responded to assist. Units arrived to find fire and smoke showing with personnel from Baltimore County working. Shrewsbury crews assisted with fire attack. Captain 61 ( Goldman) was assigned as Safety Officer. Crews worked with other departments and brought the fire under control. Station 61 members assisted with overhaul looking for hot spots.
At the time of this posting crews are still on the scene assisting.
